Epitome.xyz is happy to announce its partnership with UND Athens, a new contemporary art guide that will be published this spring. Designed and edited by a team of local insiders, UND Athens is published in the form of a foldable map pointing visitors to all the alternative art spaces, galleries and museums around the city. An online journal complements the publication with interviews and articles about Athens and its artists, offering the inside scoop of the buzzing local art scene.

With its convenient pocket size and well-researched information, UND Athens allows visitors to explore the city as if being guided by a local, thus offering a more authentic and offline way of experiencing the city. Suggested routes on the map show interesting walks and places to explore, and take visitors off the beaten track to discover parks, hills, landmarks, art venues and neighbourhoods that are not included in a conventional tourist map. A comprehensive directory of all art venues in Athens at the back of the map helps visitors dig into the contemporary art scene further if they like, and access contact information of all the galleries and major art institutions easily.

UND Athens is the only alternative art guide for Athens in English, and as such it will become an indispensable travel tool for visiting art professionals and the cultured traveller coming to Greece for Documenta and the other international art events of the season. Through its media partnership with Epitome.xyz, UND Athens will share stories and events from the contemporary art underground, and offer insider's tips about young artists, guided tours and studio visits in the city, as Athens is enjoying the attention of the international art community this season.

To celebrate its release, Und. Athens is throwing a little street party at its pop-up space on 3 Vyssis street, where the new map will be presented to the public for the first time. The event will take place on 22 April, from 17∶00 till late, with music selected by Loïzos Olympios, tsipouro from a local producer and of course the Und. Athens map at a special price.
