Published and printed in Greece by a team of talented professionals, NOMAS magazine is perhaps the only magazine that brings together travel, street photography, fashion and art in one, luxurious #7 volume. This glorious issue was curated by the creators of the Venetian GOLDEN GOOSE DELUXE BRAND Francesca Rinaldo & Alessandro Gallo and the architect Stelios Kois.

Photographer Alessio Bolzoni chose his models after a street casting. They mingled with tourists wearing statement pieces by Christian Dior, Comme des Garçons, Maison Margiela, GGDB, Yves Saint Laurent and Hermès –to name but a few- clothes that traveled many miles taken from private collections to be photographed exclusively for NOMAS.

Every artist, building, object or idea featured, reflects in a way the ever changing Venetian sky. The NOMAS photographers had magic to work with. Spyros Staveris provided images for Goethe’s Italian Journey. Staveris looked at the lagoon islands in his unique way, bringing the familiar out of the unknown.  Yannis Bournias photographed Hugh Laughton Scott as he walked the streets and roamed the canals of Venice styled by Manos Jojos.

The hunters of words met with people bursting with ideas and love for art and culture: Star curator Francesco Bonami, one of a kind performer, actor, director and author Marco Paolini and designer Luca Nichetto of Nichetto studio.  Lina Stefanou visited two places of faith: faith in style and design as preserved in the historic Laboratorio Morseletto; faith in the divine as nurtured in the amazing  San Francesco Della Vigna monastery in the heart of Venice. Art adviser Aphrodite Gonou selected the works for the 16 pages of modern art spread that included works by Karla Black, Mark Bradford, Alicia Kwade, Giorgio Griffa, Philip Guston, Yorgos Sapountzis, Eileen Quinlan, James Richards, Francis Upritchard, Sam Gilliam and Franz Erdhard Walther.
