Stephanos Droussiotis: Prometheus, scene 1
Three years after directing Faust at the Kypria Festival (2013), Stephanos Droussiotis tackles the myth of Prometheus, placing humankind at the heart of tragic action.

Following its première at the Cyprus Platform, as part of the 4th Small Festival of Ancient Drama, the work Prometheus, Scene 1 will be presented at the Theatro Dentro for three performances only.

11.06.2016 - 13.06.2016

THEATRO DENTRO, NICOSIA

The gift of Prometheus places mankind at the centre of the tragic event. In man's attempt to delimit the new space that is assigned to him, light is transformed from matter to be used into a new condition of existence.

A visual-physical performance, an interesting point of view on the influence of civilization. Life, offer, punishment, silence, pride, loneliness, nature, humanity in the timeline of dramatic composition. A must see!
