The art platform Dio Horia in Mykonos presents the group exhibition 'Alice in Crisis' and two solo exhibitions by painter Panos Papadopoulos and photographer Paris Petridis.

Panos Papadopoulos, Boring Syndrome II (2016). Pencil on paper, 32 x 40 cm.
As part of its second group of exhibitions for the 2016 season, Mykonos-based art platform Dio Horia presents the group exhibition 'Alice in Crisis' curated by the gallery's founder and DESTE Foundation collaborator, Marina Vranopoulou. The exhibition brings together the works of 10 contemporary artists, both from Greece and abroad, and is a playful exploration into pop-culture imagery and a kind of humorous, cartoony absurdity.

Gymstock, Ten Breaths. Resin, 26 x 27 x 160.5 cm / Base: 40 x 40 cm, 2015.
Cornelia Baltes, Deep Thought, oil and acrylic on canvas, 48 x 138 cm, 2013.
At the same time, two solo shows are hosted in the smaller galleries upstairs: Greek painter Panos Papadopoulos delves into the soothing poignancy of an evanescent minimalism, while photographer Paris Petridis presents a photographic diary of his journeys in the countryside and his encounters with animals —some of which happened during his residency at Dio Horia last spring.

Paris Petridis, Mykonos (2016). Inkjet Print on fine art paper, 58 x 75 cm.
